Lets Make Easy Chicken Tortilla Soup

This soup doesn’t take long at all, easy and quick to make. Chicken Tortilla Soup can be made in a dutch over, pot or crockpot. Don’t have time to sit over the stove? Add it to the crockpot or duct over and shred chicken before eating.
Chicken tortilla Soup
Ingredients
- 1 yellow onion
- 3 stalks of celery
- 2 tbsp minced Garlic
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 4 Cups of Chicken Broth 4 Cups of water 4 tbsp chicken base
- 3 chicken breast sliced in half to cut down cooking time
- 1 Can of Black beans drained
- 1 Can of Rotel tomatoes and green chilies un drained
- 1 Can of Diced Tomatoes
- 1 Can of Corn or half frozen bag
- 1 Can of tomato sauce
- 1/3 block cream cheese
- 1 Cup Cheddar Cheese
- 1 package taco seasoning
- 1 Pkg Tortilla Strips or Chips
Instructions
SAUTÉ:
- 1 yellow onion
- 3 stalks of celery
- 2 tbsp minced Garlic
- 2tbsp Butter
Deglaze with:
- 4 Cups of Chicken Broth (4 Cups of water 4 tbsp chicken base)
Reduce heat to low & Add:
- 3 chicken breast (sliced in half to cut down cooking time) let simmer for 10 to 15 mins
Remove chicken and shred then put back along with:
- 1 Can of Black beans (drained)
- 1 Can of Rotel tomatoes and green chilies (un drained)
- 1 Can of Diced Tomatoes
- 1 Can of Corn or half frozen bag
- 1 Can of tomato sauce
- 1/3 block cream cheese
- 1 Cup Cheddar Cheese
- 1 package taco seasoning
Simmer for 20 to 30 mins then serve
For Creamy result
- 1/2 Cup heavy cream 1 tbsp flour
