When I first heard about this I was like absolutely not. I am not eating chicken Parmesan over broccoli. But look at me now. This was so good. It has now became a staple. I am shocked my daughter even loved it, and she absolutely does not want anything to do with broccoli. It was also a huge plus for me because I love pasta and that’s typically how I see this dish. But with this version, you get plenty of vegetables. Who doesn’t love a good dish that doesn’t taste like a mouth full of vegetables.
I was surprised at how the flavors really came out in this dish. The broccoli just soaks up all of the different seasonings and they still have a crunch. If you don’t overcook them. Take the time to cut your chicken breast or your tenderloins into smaller pieces. Makes it very easy when it’s time to serve.
This recipe is super easy when I say super easy takes not even five minutes to really put together. All you need is broccoli, chicken, Parmesan and pasta sauce and if you’re anything like me and love the extra string cheese, get you some mozzarella and that is it. Dinner is ready in five minutes. How did this chicken parmesan really taste? Would I make any changes?
This is a recipe that I don’t have to do a whole lot too and it literally taste amazing. The flavor does change based off of the pasta sauce that you are using so I highly suggest using a pasta sauce that you absolutely love so that way the flavor comes out just how you would like it. I love that at the 45 minutes the broccoli still has a crunch if you are using a frozen bag of broccoli. I took it straight out of the freezer and put it in the pan. I did like it more when I use the mushroom flavor pasta sauce, over the original pasta sauce. That would have to be the biggest tip and take away, I can give from this dish. Depending on how intense of a flavor you want. Choose your right pasta sauce .

Chicken Parmesan Over Broccoli
Equipment
- Oven
Ingredients
- 1 bag of broccoli
- 1-2 Cubed Chicken breast or 6 tenderloins
- 1 Jar Pasta sauce flavor of your choice
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 Cup Mozzarella cheese
Seasonings
- Garlic Powder
- Onion Powder
- Celery Salt
- Smoked Paprika
- Thyme
- seasoned salt
- pepper
Instructions
Get prepared
- Cut all of your chicken into small bite size cubes
- season your chicken and set it a side
- Get a pan and spray it with non stick spray
Layer your ingredients to your liking
- Add your broccoli to your pan
- Add your Parmesan
- Add your chicken
- Add your pasta sauce
- Add your cheese
- Cover with foil. Spray the side of the foil that will be touching the cheese with non stick spray so your cheese doesn’t come off when you remove the foil
- Bake on 350 for 45mins
